My name is Bennett Patterson and I am a current Junior studying at the University of Southern California. I am studying communications and cinematic arts at usc with an emphasis on video production and post-production. Before moving to los angeles to attend uSC i in lived downtown chicago and it has played a large role in shaping my identity and professional INterests.
As a person, I strive to live a life of optimism, kindness and to be someone those around me can look up too. In the workplace I am an extremely, motivated and hardworking individual who is capable in leading any team.
My ultimate goal is to work in the entertainment industry as a full time professional. I am greatly intrigued by high-paced, creative environment in production, especially that encompassed by the sports world. Additionally, I am immersed in the vastly diverse field of editing which has propelled my interest in the film industry. I aspire to pursue my extended interest in cinematography and post-production.
I have extensive experience in video production, editing, photography, social media management, marketing, and content creation through leadership roles in different opportunities around USC. My favorite position thus far has been serving as a creative production intern with usc athletics. Through this opportunity I have gained incredibly valuable skills in videography, editing, graphic design, and overall teamwork.
